POSSIBILITY!

Have you ever had optimism move your heart so potently?

The chance that it could work, the potential of a moment to change the trajectory of your entire life?

All the energy, hope and fire accelerating some jittery internal battles, a series of clammy palms and a racing heart?

Stakes and gravity scaring you to numbness? I mean, you don't get all that goodness and possibility with zero risk.

...but its the occasional grin from the encouraging set of circumstances that keep you going. The fact that they are marginally better than the grueling past. 

The features are drawn differently this time; not as breathlessly constipated with emotion but much more stable, rational and fulfilling. 

I say this prayer; a silent earnest plea it works out for my good.

Yet in the midst of all the swoony sensations and novelty of the moments, the labour is to keep the mind open and limit expectations.
